What really counts?

“Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted.” – Albert Einstein

The first time I’ve read this saying I was so amazed and I felt that I need to share it with someone. It seems so true and powerful to me, because it explains a life lesson that we all should remember.

You can count money, but you can’t count love.Which one matters the most?I just really believe that everything we truly need in order for us to be happy are exactly those “stuff” we can’t count. Why so?Well, it’s because we can have a lot of money, no friends, no happiness and no love.At that point it is clearly what matters the most.

It’s too hard to explain what really counts into so few words. We can explain many things about money, but it is nearly impossible to describe how it is like to fall in love or how you feel when you’re completely happy and at peace with yourself. That’s what matters. If we search in this life only for material stuff then we deserve to have them, but everything comes with a consequence.

Don’t seek what it’s countable, seek the infinite.Seek love, values, happiness, your dreams.Never settle for less than what you think you deserve.Always look for peace and spiritual growth instead of something temporary that you can count. The choice it’s up to you, so choose wisely.

The Golden Rule

Being thankful for what we have is actually one of the most important lessons that we should learn in our life.Gratitude is a powerful act of love that brings peace in our life.
The saying manages to show in few words what true love really means. It’s never about doing something good for someone and always expecting something in return. Also, it’s not about saying “you owe me” after each little action that you  do in order to make someone else happy.Actually, it is the opposite of all those things. This is the reason why the sun never says to the earth “you owe me”.If it would have done that we would probably live in the darkness instead of the light. What could earth offer to the sun?Pretty much nothing.
Even nature teaches us that we should love truly.I’m not talking specifically about the love that is required in a relationship, but a love that should be part of our life every day,”a love that lights the whole sky”.
Each one of us should live a life loving the others, but we are not perfect and we make mistakes often. It is fine.We are allowed to do that, but at least we have to try to show our inner love to everybody although they might treat us as we wouldn’t want to be treated. It’s just one simple rule that conquers the others and that’s why it’s called the golden rule:“Do to others as you would have them do to you.”-Luke 6:31
Most importantly, do everything with love and dedication and you will feel happy for making people smile no matter how they treat you. It’s hard to do this, but i’s worth it.

My Violin

Nope.I don’t have a violin and I have no idea how to play one, but as I was reading today a  saying wrote from a very special friend of mine I compared my own soul with a violin. The chords are my heart and each action that makes me feel appreciated is like playing the violin. The music starts flowing beautifully and the sounds echoes in your head over and over again.Little things touches people’s  souls and friendship is one of the greatest gifts that we receive in this life.I truly appreciate how friends fill my heart with joy and greatness just by writing some simple words on a paper. That’s the reason I love the friends that I’m blessed to have in my life and I will cherish the memories spent with them forever.

Maybe when you’re in love your soul could be a piano and your loved one could be the one playing it.Music is obviously magic made out of notes wrote on a paper.Artists give birth to this miracle by playing a musical instrument or singing. Just amazing.

I want to share this special saying wrote by my friend.I was so inspired.

“I once had  dreams of becoming a beautiful poet, but upon an unfortunate series of events some of those dreams dashed and divided like a million stars in the night sky that I wished on over and over again, sparkling and broken. But I didn’t really mind, because I knew that it takes getting everything you ever wanted, and then losing it to know what true freedom is.” ― Lana Del Rey

No words

When love comes what’s the use of words?

It fixes the pain of sharping swords.

It makes the night come to a day

As beating of time becomes only delay.

If love would never leave us we wouldn’t know the grief,

The suffering, the motion, the ending, the relief.

If hearts were never broken

No joy was in the mending,

If love were never here

You wouldn’t see an ending.

People change and feelings pass

As time does its true magic

Wounds are healed, our life is blooming….

When love comes again

There’s no words to describe it.

You Vs. Yourself

I think it’s a very interesting question, because nowadays many of us wear masks and we are way too afraid to let them down. Why?Because we want to be a part of a certain group of friends or we are just afraid that people will judge us if we don’t behave in a certain why. That’s why looking in a mirror that reflects our personality might be a good idea.We could see our flaws and maybe even find out new things about ourselves. We will be face to face with ourselves in a unique way and we could see our flaws and qualities from a different perspective.Who knows you better than yourself? No one. That’s why this chance could reveal a lot more that we could ever imagine. It’s not the same when someone from the outside judges you, but what if your own soul could do it?Good question.Everybody should want to see how they are in a mirror even though you like yourself or you don’t.

“The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday.”-Unknown

Why bother trying to please society or compete with others? You are your own friend and your own enemy.Seeing your personality reflected in a mirror could be a great chance to see the places where you have to improve. This is the reason why  masks should fall down not only when we are alone, but with other people, as well.We are defined too often by our actions, although they might all be a curtain that we want others to see.Just be as you want and forget about those who judge you.Keep your chin up and be proud to imagine yourself in such a magic mirror.

“Maybe I don’t want to be defined by what I do.Maybe I’d like to be defined by what I am”-Nicholas Sparks, Safe Haven
