You Vs. Yourself

I think it’s a very interesting question, because nowadays many of us wear masks and we are way too afraid to let them down. Why?Because we want to be a part of a certain group of friends or we are just afraid that people will judge us if we don’t behave in a certain why. That’s why looking in a mirror that reflects our personality might be a good idea.We could see our flaws and maybe even find out new things about ourselves. We will be face to face with ourselves in a unique way and we could see our flaws and qualities from a different perspective.Who knows you better than yourself? No one. That’s why this chance could reveal a lot more that we could ever imagine. It’s not the same when someone from the outside judges you, but what if your own soul could do it?Good question.Everybody should want to see how they are in a mirror even though you like yourself or you don’t.

“The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday.”-Unknown

Why bother trying to please society or compete with others? You are your own friend and your own enemy.Seeing your personality reflected in a mirror could be a great chance to see the places where you have to improve. This is the reason why  masks should fall down not only when we are alone, but with other people, as well.We are defined too often by our actions, although they might all be a curtain that we want others to see.Just be as you want and forget about those who judge you.Keep your chin up and be proud to imagine yourself in such a magic mirror.
