What really counts?

“Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted.” – Albert Einstein

The first time I’ve read this saying I was so amazed and I felt that I need to share it with someone. It seems so true and powerful to me, because it explains a life lesson that we all should remember.

You can count money, but you can’t count love.Which one matters the most?I just really believe that everything we truly need in order for us to be happy are exactly those “stuff” we can’t count. Why so?Well, it’s because we can have a lot of money, no friends, no happiness and no love.At that point it is clearly what matters the most.

It’s too hard to explain what really counts into so few words. We can explain many things about money, but it is nearly impossible to describe how it is like to fall in love or how you feel when you’re completely happy and at peace with yourself. That’s what matters. If we search in this life only for material stuff then we deserve to have them, but everything comes with a consequence.

Don’t seek what it’s countable, seek the infinite.Seek love, values, happiness, your dreams.Never settle for less than what you think you deserve.Always look for peace and spiritual growth instead of something temporary that you can count. The choice it’s up to you, so choose wisely.
